High-efficiency Metal Random Packing
|
Metal random packings are available in various materials of co-
nstructionsuch as: Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Titanium and
Zirconium, Copper, Aluminum. Its unique shape ensures low
liquid holdup and lowpressure drop . The external geometry
prevents the packing from interlocking or entangling, ensuring
the randomness and optimum surface area within the packed -
bed , while the internal fingers , arches and vanes promote
optimum interfacial gas / liquid contact with minimal drag or
hold-up. Energy consumption is reduced, due to lower reflux
ratios.

Plastic (random) Tower Packing
|
Plastic tower packing is made of those heat resistant and chem-
ical corrosion resistant plastics, including polyethylene (PE),
polypropylene (PP), reinforced polypropylene (RPP), polyvinyl
chloride(PVC), chloridized polyvinyl chloride(CPVC) and polyv-
inylidene fluoride (PVDF).

Metallic standard structured packing (Corrugated Structured Packing)
|
The angle of inclination of the corrugations of adjacent sheets
is reversed with respect to the vertical column axis, forming m-
ixingcells at every point where the corrugations intersect.
Perforations and surface texturing, including waffled, grooved
and smooth , promote intimate mixing and radial distribution
over the entire tower cross-section. Each subsequent element
is rotated 90°about the column axis so that the sheets of one
element are perpendicular to the sheets of the elements above
and below.
